Dr. Hasan Mahmud, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Information addressing as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of ‘DIU MCT Career Expo-2019’.
Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology (MCT) of Daffodil International University organized ‘DIU MCT Career Expo-2019’ on 22 June 2019 at University Premises. Dr. Hasan Mahmud, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Information inaugurated the expo as the chief guest in the morning at 71 Milonayoton of the university. Mr. Mostafa Monwar, Former DG of BTV and Shilpokola Academy was present as the special guest. Presided over by Professor Dr. S M Mahbub UlHaque Majumder, Acting Vice Chancellor of DIU the program also presented by Professor Dr. Engr. A. K. M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar of DIU, Dr. Shaikh Muhammad Allayer, Head, Department of MCT and Mr. Abu Taher Khan, Director, Career Development Center (CDC).

Around 10 renowned multimedia company of the country attended the expo. After inaugural session, Dr. Hasan Mahmud visited stall with other distinguished guest. Beside this Mr. Arif Ahmed, Associate Professor, Department of MCT presented a keynote paper titled ‘IT 4.0 Challenges and Career Prospects’ in the program. The paper said that more than 20 lac garment worker will be jobless within 2030 because of the development of automation and robot. For facing this challenge we should replace the garment worker as 3D printer operator.
While addressing as the chief guest Dr. Hasan Mahmud said that now the whole world entered into 4th industrial revolution. For facing the challenge of 4th industrial revolution, we need competency in animation, 3D, motion graphics etc. But it’s really a great sorrow matter that multimedia practice is not started in a huge range in our country. But Daffodil University is different. This university open multimedia and creative technology and fulfill the demand of time.

Dr. Hasan Mahmud said to the students that there is a huge career prospect in multimedia. Not only home but also the abroad it has huge career opportunity. In the meantime Dr. Hasan Mahmud argue the students to be dreamer and stay strong in the aim.
Mr. MostafaMonwar said that technology cannot make us worried if we know the use of creativity. A creative person never be unemployed. He gave thanks to Daffodil University for conducting multimedia course.
Mr. Mostafa Monwar also said to the students that use your brain. It is the most worthy things in the world. So use your brain to creative work. That’s why you never fall in tension for career.
