Professor Dr. Yousuf M I slam, Vice Chancellor along with the Players of Daffodil International University (DIU) who won the Fair Play Award’ in Bangabandhu Inter University Sports Champ 2019.
Daffodil International University (DIU) has won the ‘Fair Play Award’ including 4 Gold Medal, 6 Silver Medal and 4 Bronze Medal in the prestigious tournament OF Bangabandhu Inter University Sports Champ 2019. Daffodil International University achieved 4th position among 65 public and private universities in Bangabandhu Inter University Sports Champ 2019.
The final round and medal giving ceremony was held on 27 April 2019 at Bangabandhu National Stadium where Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was present as the chief guest.
Daffodil International University took part in 13 events and won 4 Gold Medal (Cycling, Table Tanis, Badminton Single & Doubles), 6 Silver Medal (Athletics, 200 Meter Sprint, Long Jump, Hurdles 110 Meter, Cricket, Badminton Mixed Doubles & Volleyball) and 4 Bronze Medal (Table Tanis, 100 Meter Sprint, Hand Ball & Football).
It may be mentioned that the Bangabandhu Inter University Sports Champ 2019 was inaugurated on 29 March 2019 in participation of 65 public and private universities of the country.
