Mr. Rashedul Islam, Additional Secretary, ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology addressing as the chief guest at the workshop on ‘UK-Bangladesh Digital Research and Innovation Capacity Building’ jointly organized by Daffodil International University (DIU) and Teesside University, UK.

Daffodil International University (DIU) and Teesside University, UK jointly organized a workshop on ‘UK-Bangladesh Digital Research and Innovation Capacity Building’ today on 23 April 2019 at Banquet Hall of DIU. Mr. Rashedul Islam, Additional Secretary, ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology was present at the program as the chief guest. Presided over by Professor Dr. Akhter Hossain, Head, Department of CSE, DIU the program was also addressed by Professor Dr. Alamgir Hissain, Teesside University, Professor Dr. Mosharraf Sarker, Teesside University, Professor MeezIsam, Teesside University, Professor Zulfiqur Ali, Teesside University, Dr. Marzia Haque Tania, Anglia Ruskin University, UK, Dr. Rashed Haider Noori, Associate Head, Department of CSE, DIU and many other teachers and researchers from different university.
While addressing as the chief guest Mr. Rashedul Islam said that it is a rear workshop because of this kind of workshop is not common in Bangladesh. Rare but it is a well-timed workshop. He gave thanks to organizers for arranging this kind of workshop.
He also said that aiming to making digital Bangladesh, the country is moving forward. For that we have to make long term plan. This workshop will help to making plan. He added.
Mr. Rashedul Islam said, whole world has entered into 4th industrial revolution. We should prepare ourselves to face this challenge.
