Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a workshop on ‘Declaring Research Activities by EEE Faculty Members’ for promoting research culture and practice in the university on 11 March, 2019 at the Meeting Room (Room # 308) of the Main Building. Prof. Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Honorable Vice Chancellor, DIU was present in the workshop as Chief guest and Prof. Dr. Md. Kabirul Islam, Director, Division of Research, DIU was present as the workshop president. Dr. A K M Alamgir, Assoc. Professor and Research Coordinator, Dept. of EEE conducted the workshop as convener.
The EEE faculty members declared and presented their research activities and progress on various research areas showing their motivation, contribution and potential for developing research culture in the department. Prof. Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Honorable Vice Chancellor, DIU encouraged for more and more research progress in the department according to the new guideline he proposed and described. Prof. Dr. Md. Kabirul Islam, Director, Division of Research, DIU appreciated the research initiatives and diverse potential of the EEE faculty members and addressed possible ways to solve the challenges associated with the research activities in the department.
