32 ClubS of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized two day long ‘Innovadeous DIU Club Carnival-2019’ from March 27028, 2019 at 71 Milonayoton of the university. Mr. Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer of DIU inaugurated the carnival today on March 27, 2019 as the chief guest while Professor A. M.M Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Social Science was present as the special guest. Country’s renowned actor, director and writer Gazi Rakayet, eminent lyricist Kabir Bakul, Famous Cartoonist & editor of Unmad magazine Ahsan Habib, President of Prothom Alo Bondhushava central committee Mr. Saiduzzaman Raushan, choreographer and dancer Ms. Farhana Choudhury Baby, young writer Kingkan Ahsan, Managing Director of Innovadeus Mehedi Hasan, Head of operation Khan Md. Nakib Shadhin, Head of HR & Admin of Roxi Paints Mr. Habib Ullah Babu were present as the guest of honors. Presided over by Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director, Student Affairs of DIU, the program was also addressed by Professor Dr. Masum Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, Mr. Mahbub Perviz, Head, Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Dr. Shaikh Muhammad Allayear, Head, Department of Multimedia & Creative Technology (MCT).
Before the inaugural session, a colorful rally lead by chief guest and other distinguished guests started from Daffodil Tower and surrounded Dhanmondi 32 and Dhanmondi 27 and finally ended in front of Daffodil Tower. The two day long carnival was included with stall presentation, dance, song, acting and many other cultural activities.
While addressing as the chief guest Mr. Hamidul Haque Khan said that Daffodil university does not provide the academic education only, it also provide all kind of support to flourish their creative knowledge.
