Ms. Selima Ahmad, MP, President of BWCCI addressing as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the program “Mom-Preneur: Mother will be Self- Reliant”, an special initiative of Daffodil International School and Daffodil International University held at 71 Milonayoton of the university.
For the first time in the country, “Mom-Preneur: Mother will be Self- Reliant”, a special initiative of Daffodil International School and Daffodil International University to empower the kids Mom was launched today on 10 March, 2019 at 71 Milonayoton of the university. Ms. Selima Ahmad, MP, President of BWCCI inaugurated the program as the chief guest while Mrs. Hosne Ara Begum, Managing Director (Secretary), Bangladesh High Tech Park was present as the special guest. Presided over by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Family the program was also addressed by Mr. Md. Asaduzzaman, Policy Expart, a2i project, Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil Family, Dr. Md Mahmudul Hassan, Principal, Daffodil International School. The program was conducted by KM Hasan Ripon, Advisor, BSDI.

While addressing as the chief guest Ms. Selima Ahmad said, children feels proud when mother become self-dependent. They learn personality from this kind of mother. So, every mother should be self-dependent. She urged the mother not to waste their time in front of kid’s school, rather try to utilize the time and develop skills and finally become an entrepreneur. She added.
Dr. Md. Sabur Khan said that most of our mothers are waste their valuable time in front of school through only just gossiping. If they use their time for developing their skills, they can change the country. Mom-Preneur help will help them to be an entrepreneur.
It may mentioned that while travelling in Dhaka City, we can see lots of Moms are waiting outside the schools for their children and waste their valuable time outside without doing nothing. Many of them come from a long distance so, they usually do not go back home considering the huge traffic jam. Many of them have good knowledge and Education but due to lack of other skills or time they cannot explore the potential. Research found that, this part of the community have the interest to do something, but for the lack of guidance, time management and skills they do not explore their potentials. Mom-Preneur initiative has been taken considering this demand.
