Retired Armed Forces Officer's Welfare Association (RAOWA) and Daffodil Family signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 9th March at Eagle Hall, RAOWAonEntrepreneurship Development and Career Support Program. Lt Col Md. Shamsul Islam, psc, Secretary General of RAOWA and Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil Family signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institute. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Family, Major Khandaker Nurul Afser, Chairman of RAOWA, Brig Gen Md. MahbubulAlam, ndc, psc, Senior Vice Chairman, RAOWA, Lt Col Kh. Mustafizur Rahman, Vice Chairman, RAOWA, Lt. Col A M Mosharaf Hossain, Convener of RAOWA Entrepreneurs Forum were also present the program along with the members and Advisor committee members of RAOWA.


Under this agreement entrepreneurship development support programs, entrepreneurial activities/project-works and career assistance services for the valued members of RAOWA would be ensured under Bilateral Cooperation Program between RAOWA and Skill.Jobs, a career platform of Daffodil Family & Daffodil International University (DIU). The MoU signed in accordance with the principal of bilateral cooperation program and mutual benefit, to share knowledge and to foster mutual exchange.

With a view, therefore to creating a common platform of identical interest and purpose for mutual understanding and communication with each other and for effective voicing and solution of their individual and collective problems and at the same time rendering service to the cause of the nation and the community as a whole,RAOWA has been created.


Entrepreneurs Forum of RAOWA and Skill.Jobs of Daffodil Family and Daffodil International University (DIU) have agreed to work together to develop the retired officers as entrepreneurs to cope up with the civil life and contribute to the nation and national economy even after retirement. They will also focus on creating school franchise all over the country to disseminate and ensure quality education all over the country. Both parties will also jointly work on traffic management and provide training to the police and govt. authority across the country.DIUis offering ten percent (10%) tuition fee waiver in addition to regular waiver in DIU for the first blood & spouses of the RAOWA members and RAOWA nominated armed force member’s son and daughter.
