Daffodil Alumni UK Reunion 2019 held today on February 24, 2019 at Palm Tree in London. Ms. Baroness Manzila Pola Uddin, Member of the House of Lords, UK was present in the program as the chief guest. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Family was present in the program as the special guest. Dr. Donald Slowan, Chairman, Oxford Cultural Connective, Mr. S M Zakaria Haque, Commercial Counselor of Bangladesh High Commission in UK and Dr. Azizur Rahman, Bangladeshi originated British Business man were present as the Guest of Honor in the program, Mr. Md. Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer, Daffodil Family delivered the address of welcome. More than 100 Daffodil Alumni and their Family Members participated in the reunion program.
Addressing as the chief guest Ms. Baroness Manzila, Member of the House of Lords, UK highly appreciated this initiative of the ex-students of Daffodil Family and she expressed her hope that the triumph of the Daffodil Family will be continued throughout the world and this triumph will be actively reflected in the development of Bangladesh.
While addressing as the special guest Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Family highlighted the details of the initiative of forming country wise non-resident Daffodil Alumni Network and wished that with the collective effort they will be able to shape it a Global Net work which will contribute in the development of Bangladesh utilizing their skills and experiences.  It may be mentioned here that a large number of Daffodil Alumni are working in different countries of the world with pride and key positions.
The event turned into a family gathering with the presence of Family members and every member was so excited to find their teachers, students, mentors, colleagues in a long distance after a long period. Everyone found to share the old memories and to some extent became very emotional. The best part has been seen while everyone agreed to work together for positioning Bangladesh. At the beginning of the event, there was a presentation on Family Photos which really made the event live.
