At ‘WBAF World Congress 2019’ held at Istanbul in Turkey


 
Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, High-Commissioner for Bangladesh for World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), and the Chairman, Daffodil International University joined the grand 3 day event ‘WBAF World Congress 2019’ at Istanbul, Turkey during 17 - 19 February 2019, with the theme, “Committed to Empowering Economic Development of the World”.
 
H.E Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, President of Croatia inaugurated the congress amidst representation by 150+ delegations, including honorable Ministers, government bodies, successful entrepreneurs and international dignitaries from around the world.
 
In his vibrant presentation titled "Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EiR) Programmers to Cultivate Intrapreneurship", Dr. Khan focused on objectives of EiR, global practices, role of industry-academia partnership, initiatives from Daffodil, venture capital, angel investors, business incubator, curriculum development for higher education in university level, etc. His active participation opened up scope to flourish Daffodil & Bangladesh with many country representatives to build a large scale international networking, contacts and investment opportunities.
 
Dr. Khan also took part to panel discussion with Baybars Altuntas, Chair, World Business Angels Investment Forum titled “Enhancing Innovative Cultures through Entrepreneurship: Innovation Education for Non-Business Students and Founders of Start-Ups, Scale-Ups and High-Growth Businesses”. He talked on unique opportunity for researchers, educators and politicians to share their experiences with the major challenges and advances in enterprise education, with a special focus on entrepreneurship and innovation.
