A 03-member delegation of Daffodil International University (DIU) visited Hainan College of Vocation and Technique (HCVT), Hainan Province, China from 7-11 October 2018 led by Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University (DIU).   The delegation also included Mr. Md. Golam Mostofa, Asst. Professor, Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) and Mr. Md. Shumsud Doha, Asst. Director – CDC of DIU.
With the view of facilitating THM Graduates of DIU with international internship and career exposer in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry in China, the delegates signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Hainan College of Vocation and Technique (HCVT), The team had meetings with the Top Management of different leading international chain hotels at Haikou, Wanning and Sanya city of Hainan province in China and visited all the facilities offered to interns.
Dr. Wang Anxing, President, Hainan College of Vocation and Technique, China and Prof. Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, the Vice Chancellor of DIU represented their respective party and signed the agreement dated on October 11, 2018 at HCVT, Hainan, China to execute 05 (five) individual programs like Chinese Language & Culture and Skills Training program in Hotel Management including 01 year on the job training with internship coverage at international brand 05 Star Hotels in Hainan Province of China, Faculty & Resource sharing for conducting professional certificate training programs as per requirement of Tourism and Hospitality Industry on the globe, student exchange activities aimed at promoting scientific research or academic progresses and scholarship programs.  
In this auspicious occasion, Mr. Vincent, X.H.WU, Ph.D., Assistant President, HCVT, Ms. Luo Jinging, Deputy Director, Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chines Affair Office, HCVT, Mr. David H.X.W, Associate Professor, Department of Tourism, HCVT, and representative of Phoenix Consultancy Center were present in the MoA signing ceremony.
