Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University and Professor Dr. A.K.M. FazlulHaque, Director, IQAC, DIU have attended the meeting and took part in the discussion on ensuring quality higher education, IQAC and SDG-4. They also attended  a Round Table Discussion  (RTD) on ‘The Role of Quality Higher Education in Achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG #4) in Bangladesh’ at the NSU Syndicate Hall on October 25, 2018.

Prof. Dr. Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) graced the occasion as Chief Guest whereas Prof. Dr. Yousuf Ali Mollah, Member of University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh and Prof. Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, Head of Quality Assurance Unit (QAU), UGC of Bangladesh were present asGuest of Honor and Special Guest, respectively. The RTD was presided over by Professor Dr. Atique Islam, Vice Chancellor, North South University. Vice Chancellors and Directors of IQAC of other universities were participated. The RTD was organized to share and exchange the views on our position, as a nation, in providing quality higher education and stressed on, how we can collectively achieve success in meeting SDG 4.Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity and SDG-4 mainly focuses ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
