Mr. Mustafa Jobbar, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Post Telecommunication and IT hands over the Champion Trophy of ‘3rdNational Girls Programming Contest-2018’ to the members of the  JU-Jabian.

Post Telecommunication and ICT Minister Mustafa Jobbar said, Programming is now the highest paid profession in the world and he urged the Bangladeshi girls to come forward in this sector to take digital Bangladesh a head. He said this while distributing prizes among the winners of 3rd National Girls Programming Competition 2018 organized by Daffodil International University on  October 22, 2018 at 71 Milonayoton of the university. State Minister of ICT Division of Ministry of Post Telecommunication and IT was present as the special guest. Presided over by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University , the function was also addressed by Begum Zuena Aziz, Secretary,  ICT Division of Ministry of Post Telecommunication and IT, Parthoprotin Deb, Executive Director, Engr. Md. Enamul Kabir, Director, Bangladesh Computer Council, Ms. Hosne Ara Begum, ndc, Managing Director (Secretary), Bangladesh High-Tech Park Authority and Professor Dr. S M Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro Vice Chancellor and Professor Dr. Syed Akther Hossen, Head, Department of CSE of Daffodil International University. Daffodil International University in association with Ministry of Post Telecommunication and IT and supported by Bangladesh Computer Council organized the contest
A total number of 102 team form School, College and University all around Bangladesh participated in this day long contest. The contest held in two categories. Catagort-1 participated by only Primary level students and Category-2 participated by High school, College and University level students. The contest continued for 5 hours at stress from 10.30 am to 3.30pm.  Before this final round, in regional contest 320 team participated in online competition and finally 102 team qualified for today’s national contest.

Mr. Mustafa Jobbar, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Post Telecommunication and IT along with Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Honorable State Minister hand over the Trophy of ‘3rdNational Girls Programming Contest-2018’ to the members of   winning Daffodil International School.

In the contest JU-Jabian team of Jahangirnagar University comprising with Sabera Mahmud Proma, Mir Noushin, Richita Khondoker became Champion while ‘Hooked On’ team of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology comprising with Jannatul Ferdous, Hure Jannat Rafci and Safia Pervin became 1st Runner Up and ‘Fighters’ team of Chittagong University comprising with Asmaul Husna Choudhury, Nazifa Islam Progga and Nishat Sultana Choudhury became 2nd Runner Up.

In Primary Level Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College, Sylhet became Champion while Daffodil My- e-Kids became 1st Runner Up and Daffodil International School became 2nd Runner Up. .
