Mr. Mohammad Shibli Shahriar, Associate Professor and Head of Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DIE), DIU and Mr. Nayeem Ashrafi, Director, FII Dhaka, are exchanging MoU documents between them.
Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DIE) has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Founder Institute, Inc. (FII) on 22 September 2018 in Daffodil Business Incubator Conference Room to support and collaborate each other for developing an Entrepreneurial Eco-system
Mr. Mohammad Shibli Shahriar, Associate Professor and Head of Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DIE), DIU and Mr. Nayeem Ashrafi, Director, FII Dhaka, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. Mr. Golam Monowar Kamal, Managing Director, Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited (BVCL), Mr. Md. Tajul Islam, Director, FII Dhaka &Mr. Md. Rashadul Islam, Asst. Director, Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited (BVCL) were also present during the MoU signing.
This MoU aims to extend hand from both side where DIE will act as venue partner while FII will create a branded fellowship and a dedicated landing web page to specifically promote the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, DIU, local entrepreneurs and mentors. Most importantly, the venue partner is doing a good thing to help build the local start-up ecosystem. This MoU is designed to build up a strong social network in creating entrepreneurs. Through this MoU, the students of DIE will have the chance to meet with renowned Entrepreneurs, mentors and for internship opportunity at FII which is the globally recognized institution.
