JMC Dept. conducted the training workshop on” Electronic Journalism” for the students of Press Institute of Bangladesh
A four day long special training workshop on” Electronic Journalism” for the students of Post Graduate Diploma Course 2011-2012 of Press Institute of Bangladesh was held from January 23-26, 2012 at JMC Media Lab of Daffodil International University. Prof. Dr. Golam Rahman, Dean, FHSS of Daffodil International University conducted the training workshop where Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Daffodil International University assisted and provided the technical support.

The training workshop included Radio Report and Reporting Script Writing & sound recording, use of microphone in Radio Reporting, Radio Report editing, TV Reporting, Types of TV Reporting, Structure and Characteristic of TV Reporting, use of Camera, shooting and TV News gathering and Writing and package preparation and practical out door shooting.

At the end of the training workshop a closing ceremony was held at the auditorium of Daffodil International University where Dr. Mohammad Hannan, Director, PIB was present as the chief guest. Presided over by Prof. Dr. Golam Rahman Dean, FHSS the function was also addressed by Mahabub-Ul Haque Osmani, Lecturer, JMC, DIU, Sheikh Md. Abdur Razzak, Media Lab Instructor, JMC, DIU and other participants. The function was conducted by Shahela Akter, Assistant Editor, PIB
