Professor Dr. Mijanur Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Jagannath University posed for the picture with winners of ‘Mr. Mango Candy-DIU Marketing Fest-2018’ organized by Department of Business Administration and DIU Marketing Club.  

3 Day ‘Mr. Mango Candy-DIU Marketing Fest-2018’ ended on 24 July 2018 at Auditorium-71 of Daffodil International University jointly organized by Department of Business Administration and DIU Marketing Club. Professor Dr. Mijanur Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Jagannath University was distributed prizes among the winners as Chief Guest while Mr. Sahadat Hossen, Manager (Marketing), Pran-RFL Group was present as Special Guest. Presided over by Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU the closing ceremony was also addressed by Professor Dr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Professor & Dean, Sayed Farrukh Ahmed, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Business Administration. The program was conducted by Ms. Sabiha Matin, Senior Lecturer, Department of Business Administration
Md. Jisan got championship in Quiz Mania category; Md. Sheikh Eftakar Mahmood got championship in Just a minute category, Notre Dame College got championship in Marketing Debate category, Team ‘Blue Blood’ got championship in Crack the Case category, Team ‘Icon’ got championship in Brand Race category, Team ‘TUF’ got championship in E-War category, Stall No.75 got championship in Pack 2 Promote category, Team ‘Elite’ got championship in Hazar taker Khela category and Team ‘ICON’  got championship in Ad Making category.  
Addressing as chief guest Professor Dr. Mijanur Rahman said, it’s very important to become a significant man rather than a successful man. Anyone can be successful but becoming a significant man is too tough. A Significant man lives in mass people’s mind for decade after decade. He urged the students to become a significant .
Professor Dr. Mijanur Rahman also said, establishing and maintaining relationship with consumer is called marketing. This tactics always couldn’t find in textbook. So as a marketer you have to bland yourself with consumer and read their psychology, he added.   
Professor Dr. Mijanur Rahman also said, in this modern marketing age, it is too difficult to become successful through following previously succeeded marketers. Because today’s world is too much competitive. So, he urged the students to prepare themselves to face challenges of global marketing trend.
