Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management (BSTQM) distributed certificate among the volunteers of 21stInternational Convention on Students Quality Control Circles-2018 (ICSQCC) on July 07, 2018 at 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University. Acting Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University Professor Dr. S M Mahabub-Ul Haque Majumder was present as the chief guest at the certificate distribution ceremony. Presided over by Mr. A M M Khairul Bashar, Chairman, Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management (BSTQM), the function was also addressed by Prof. Dr. MD. Fokhray Hossain, Director, International Affairs, Mr. Syed Alimuzzaman, Secretary General, Mr. A K M Shamsul Huda, Vice President,Ms. Fatema Majib, Vice president, Mr. Sheikh Najimuddin Ahmed, Joint Secretary of BSTQM and Mrs. Zakia Sultana, Secretary , Organizing Committee of ICSQCC-2018.
It may be mentioned here that based on the theme of “Quality Education for Global Peace and Sustainable Development” the 21st International Convention on Students Quality Control Circles-2018 (ICSQCC-2018) held from May 03-06, 2018 in Bangladesh at permanent campus of Daffodil International University where around 1000 participants including 500 foreign students and delegates from USA, UK, India, Srilanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Mauritius and other countries are participating in the convention.
Members of DIU Air Rover Scout Group and BNCC DIU Unit voluntarily served the 4 day international convention and made the event successful. As the recognition of their service, Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management (BSTQM) on behalf of 21stInternational Convention on Students Quality Control Circles (ICSQCC) distributed the appreciation certificate among the volunteers.

Addressing as the chief guest Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. S M Mahabub Ul Haque Majumder said, education is the lighthouse of our society. So, if the lighthouse is not qualified, the society would not be enlightened. And if the society is not enlightened, state and world would not be enlightened. So we have to give importance on quality and standard education.
Inspiring the volunteers he urged them to be self –developed, more equipped with service skills and build strong network of friendship worldwide through service. He also urged the students to increase self-confidence. If you can improve yourself the country, society as well as the whole nation will be benefitted, he added.
