Wahid Zaman, a student of Department of Software Engineering of Daffodil International University attended the ‘Unleash’ Singapore 2018 held at National University of Singapore from May 30 to June 10. 2018. This year UNLEASH innovation lab (an immersive 10 days program) brought together 1,000 SDG talents from 130 countries to create solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals and Mr. Zaman is one of them. He achieved full funded scholarship that includes round-trip airfare, meal, and accommodation of the program.
He focused on the 4th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG): Quality Education with his team and worked on the idea "Curriculum development and student mobility across Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to give access quality education and equity to set a minimum global standard of the students coming from different backgrounds". They presented their project before the honorable guests including the President of Singapore, Halimah Yacob, after completion of their innovation process lab in NUS.
