Renowned poet and Deputy Director of Nazrul Institute Rezauddin Stalin speaking at the discussion program on 119th Birth Anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam held today on 24 May 2018 at 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University organized by Daffodil Literature Society.
To mark the 119th Birth Anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, Daffodil Literature Society of Daffodil International University has organized a discussion on life and literature works of national poet and cultural program today on 24 May 2018 at 71 Milonayoton of the University. Renowned poet and Deputy Director of Nazrul Institute Rezauddin Stalin was present at the program as keynote speaker. Professor Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering (FE), Mr. Mahbub Pervez, Head, Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Dr. Shaikh Muhammad Allayear, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology (MCT), Dr. Binoy Barman, Associate Professor, Department of English and Md. Anwar Habib Kazal, Senior Assistant Director (Public Relations) also spoke at the discussion program. Students of Daffodil Literature Society recited poem and rendered gazals of Kazi Nazrul Islam in the program. The program was conducted by Khandakar Mahir, student of Daffodil International University and General Secretary of Daffodil Literature Society.

Addressing as keynote speaker Mr. Rezauddin Stalin said, without collaboration of literature with democracy and humanity, society or state cannot be matured. Our National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam tried to make collaboration with them. We must have to remember him in any necessity of secularism and abolition of inequality and that’s why we are remembering him after 118 years of his birth. Rezauddin Stalin also said that Nazalul has always cheered on the young strength. He has always kept faith on the strength of young people.

Mr. RezaUddin Stalin termed Nazrul as a total human poet and a secular poet. He said, Nazrul has written Islamic song and shyama song simultaneously. It proves that he was a secular poet. We have to spread his ideology and spirit all over the society. RezaUddin Stalin gave thank to Daffodil Literature Society for arranging this kind of program.
