Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University along with the certificate recipients
The certificate distribution ceremony of Certificate Course on Entrepreneurship Development (CCED) organized by Career Development Center (CDC) in association with Department of Entrepreneurship of Daffodil International University was held on 25 April 2018 in the Digital Classroom of DIU. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University was present in the occasion as the Chief Guest and distributed certificate among the participants.
The program was also attended by Professor Dr. Farid A. Sobhani, Dean of HRDI, Mr. Sayed Farrukh Ahmed, Head of the Department of Business Administration, Mr. Mahbub Parvez, Head of the Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management and faculty members & officials from different concerns of DIU. Mr. Abu Taher Khan, Director, CDC made the introductory remarks in the occasion. A total of 30 participants including local & foreign students and alumni of DIU & other Universities participated in this 3-month long training course.
At the beginning of the program the participating students presented their business proposals before the audience. Among the presented proposals a good number of proposals were selected for financing by Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited (BVCL). Moreover, taking clue from the proposals presented by Somalian students, recommendations was made to arrange a discussion session on the probability of bi-literal cooperation between Bangladesh and African countries in the field of business and economy.
