Professor Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Vicce Chancellor, Daffodil International University and Mr. Mahabubul Haque, Chairman, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) exchanging documents of MoU between Daffodil International University (DIU) and Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission held today at Conference Room of BAEC.
Daffodil International University (DIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) for cooperation and strengthen education and research in the field of Nuclear Science and Engineering and related Programs. In this regard an Memorandum and Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held today on April 25, 2018 at the Conference room of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission. Mr. Mahabubul Haque, Chairman, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) and Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, DIU signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of their respective institutions.
Under this agreement, BAEC will allow Undergraduate, Graduate students and teachers of Nuclear Engineering and related subjects of DIU for research work on relevant topics at BAEC under the joint supervision of BAEC scientists/engineers and academic staff of the related Department of DIU and BAEC scientists/engineers will deliver lectures upon request of DIU.

On the other hand, Dr. Imtiaz Kamal, Member Planning & Development, Prof. Dr. Md. Sarwar Hossain, Member, Bio-Science,Dr. Syed Mohammad Hossain, Chief Scientific Officer & Director (HRD), Dr. A K M Zakaria, Director (P&D), Engr. Nasir Ahmed, Director (Engineering), Dr. M Azizul Haqaue, Director General , AERE, Savar, Dr. Bilkis Ara Begum, Director, AECD and other senior officials of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) were present in the ceremony.
