4 Students of Daffodil International University received 3 gold and 2 special awards in the International Engineering Invention Innovation Exhibition-2018(i-ENVEX 2018) which was held at University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia from 13th-14th April 2018. Daffodil International University also received contribution award from UniMAP. Award winning students are Saif Ahmed Quarishi (ETE), FM Tanvir Hasan Raian, Rafiul Azam (both EEE) and Saikat Biswas (SWE). Dr. Md. Mostafijur Rahman, Asst. Prof and Khandaker M Qaiduzzaman, Lecturer of Department of Software Engineering participated in i-ENVEX 2018 in Malaysia along with the students as mentors.
Gold Medal Award winning projects are ‘Pocket VSP: An Integrated Variable Signal Source and Power Supply for Electronics Lab’, ‘RoboArm: A Robotic Arm Targeting for Industrial Revolution 4.0’ and ‘SAISAN: A New Automated Web-Application Vulnerability Detection Tool’. Besides this ‘Pocket VSP’ was awarded as Special Award from Norton University, Cambodia and ‘RoboArm’ was awarded as Best Product Award from Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, India.
