An international workshop on Datapreneurship has been organized by Career Development Center (CDC) of Daffodil International University (DIU) at Daffodil Tower on 12 April 2018in collaboration with Entrepreneurs Corporation Ltd. of Malaysia.(ECL) Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Daffodil Family was remain present in the workshop as the Chief Guest. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Bala Chandran Ramchandran, owner & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CSE Solutions, Malaysia as the Key Speaker. He was assisted by his colleagues Mr. Piya Ratna and Dr. Selva Kumar. Mr. Abu Taher Khan, Director, CDC made the welcome address in the occasion. Among others the workshop was attended by Mr. Md. Shumsud Doha, Assistant Director of CDC and Mr. Md. Kamrul Hassan Konok, Managing Director, ECL. A total of 60 students of DIU and sister concerns of Daffodil Family participated in the workshop.

The main objective of the workshop was to make the participating students capable to enhance their skill in operating smart phone system with the aim to earn money by their own being at their home. These sorts of skill will ultimately help the concerned to make them entrepreneur by using their mobile phone with a very minimum investment. The workshop gave a clear understanding to the participants that these sorts of mobile technology is not so complex rather it is the issue of awareness about the matter. The participants came into confident with the ideas that they will be able to earn significant amount of money without any full or part-time job.
The members of ECL led by Mr. Bala Chandran Ramchandran shows their interest to work with DIU in the near future in the field of Datapreneurship. They also shown their interest to work with DIU under specific Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and agreement. It may be mentioned here that the 6-member ECL team will take part in another session on the same topic in Dhaka University on 15th April where the participants of this workshop will also take part.
