To enable the students to make real life banking model & to show the socioeconomic impact of those model, Department of Business Administration has organized a competition titled ‘Bank Model Competition’ for the students of BBA program on April 7, 2018 in the Banquate Hall of the university.
Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. S.M. MahbubUl Haque Majumder was present as the chief guest at the closing and award giving ceremony of the event. Mr. Mohammmed Masum Iqbal, Dean in Charge, Faculty of Business & Economics chaired the session.

The judge’s panel of the event was comprised with Mr. Sk. Abdul Bakir, Senior Executive Vice President & Manager, Dhaka Bank Limited, Mr. Biswajit Das, First Vice President & Manager, Dutch Bangla Bank Limited, Mr. Hasan Imam, Vice President, Financial Crime Compliance, HSBC Bank Ltd. and Mr. Abdus Sabur Miah, Assistant Vice President & Manager Operations, Bank Asia Ltd.

Among 13 groups, Team ‘Fast Movers’ got 2nd runner up with ‘Expansion of Branch Banking Model’ ‘Team ‘Blue Bird’ became 1st runner up with ‘Deposit Hunting Model’ & ‘Team Invincible’ became champion with ‘Academic Banking’ of the competition. The ideas were judged on the basis of three category (presentation skill, feasibility of the plan & social impact). Md. Arif Hassan, Associate Head, Department of Business Administration were also present in the occasion & Ms. Rozina Akter, Senior Lecturer of the department conducted the event.
