A seminar on ‘e-van for Lifelong Learning’ jointly organized by CTO Forum and ADN Technologies has been held today on 18 March 2018 at 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University. Professor Dr. Badrul Khan, Founder Chairman of neo e-novation was present at the seminar as chief guest and keynote speaker. H. E. Nur Ashekin Mohd Taib, High Commissioner of Malaysia in Bangladesh was present as special guest while Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University and Professor. Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University were also present as special guests at the seminar. Mr. Tapan Kanti Sarkar, President, CTO Forum presided over the seminar. Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, Head, Department of Software Engineering, many faculty members and students of different departments were also present at the program.

Addressing as chief guest Professor Dr. Badrul Khan said, there is no genre to lag behind from information technology in this era of technological revolution. That’s why most of the Universities of the World are getting connected into e-learning. Bangladesh also entered into digital era. Now Bangladesh has to connect into e-learning system in school, college and university level. Otherwise digital Bangladesh can not possible to build.
Professor Dr. Badrul Khan also said, to build a digital Bangladesh, technology have to spread up to rural area. e-van is a spreading tool of technological knowledge. e-van is vehicle where will be digital monitor with wifi connection there. Passenger of this e-van vehicle can learn about education, health, career and so other things from there. Professor Dr. Badrul Khan said, e-van already performed in a village of Kolkata. e-van will also inaugurated in a village of Bajitpur Thana under Kishorgonje District of Bangladesh on 27 March 2018, Added Professor Dr. Badrul Khan.
Professor Dr. Badrul Khan said to the students that if you can spread your knowledge among the people of remote area, people will salute to you. e-van can be a tool to spread your knowledge. You can start an e-van in your own native area.
While addressing as special guest Nur Ashekin Mohd Taib said, Bangladesh want to digital and that is why the country has made various policy. e-learning policy is one of them. Students of remote area are gathering knowledge through e-learning.

Mr. Nur Ashekin Mohd Taib also said, student have to be more technology friendly for survive in competitive world. Nowadays global knowledge is open for all. So it’s easy to learn from around the world. Students should use this opportunities.
Dr. Md. Sabur Khan said to his speech that Daffodil International University has started his journey as completely digital university from the very first day. It’s mandatory for all faculty members to upload his class lecture in Google classroom. Students are also bound to attend Google classroom. Daffodil International University wants to use all facilities of modern technology for gathering knowledge.
Dr. Md. Sabur Khan also said, many students of Daffodil International University are involved in e-learning. Ashar Alo, an online school is managed by Daffodil’s students through voluntary basis. They are spreading technological knowledge among the children of slum area.
