DIU Faculty Ms. ShamsiAra Huda, Assistant Professor, Department of English, has been qualified to avail the Erasmus+ Ka 107 Staff Mobility Program. To contribute to the program, Ms. Huda has visited Karbuk University, Turkey from February 12 to February 16, 2018. During her stay over there, she has conducted three workshops with the students of first year and fourth year of BA (Honors) program and the students of Masters Program of Department of English Language and Literature. The workshops were on “ Developing Writing Skills”, “ Effective Use of Web-based Resources in English Language Classrooms” and “ Impression Management and Personal Branding” respectively. The university has recognized her contribution with a Certificate of Appreciation. She has also visited a number of places of Turkey namely Safranbolu, Hidden Paradise, Crystal Terrace and the Black Sea. She is glad with the cooperation of both the faculty members and the students of the university. She is also amazed with the natural and the architectural beauty of the land. The professional spirit of the International Affairs Department of Karabuk University has inspired her as well. She believes that this kind of faculty exchange program is necessary for the personal and professional development of both the students and the faculty members.
