Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil International University (DIU) & Daffodil Family presented his Keynote Speech at the 3rd International Conference on Science, And Technology Innovation (ICOSTI)- 2017, at Grandhika Hotel, Medan, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. With the theme, “Science and Technology Innovation Toward Sustainable Global Competitiveness”, the conference aimed to bring together academic and management experts, scholars, practicing managers, business leaders, policy administrators and other academicians from different countries of South Asia on a platform to discuss various connected issues and share their research findings on innovation, technology, and development. ICOSTI is an International Conference that seeks the best strategy for developing science and technology innovation jointly hosted by Daffodil International University since its beginning.
Dr. Md. Sabur Khan spoke on “Development Strategy of Educational Institution which has International Competitive towards Sustainable Development of ASEAN Region” and attracted the audiences. His speech was interactive, directive and solution-based, where he mentioned many points, including Strategies to ensure the sustainable development of higher education institutions in ASEAN Region, its challenges, and sustainability approaches, need of Industry-academia alliances, stress on employability, the strategic alliance among universities, Challenges to ensure sustainable development of higher education, and Recommendations for the sustainable development of higher education, among others.

Mohamad Nasir, Ph.D., Ak, Honorable Minister of Research and Higher Education Technology, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Indonesia was the opening speaker whereas Brig. General Datuk Prof. Emeritus Dr. Kamarudin Husin, Counsellor of Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia), and Dr. Caroline Marian S. Enriquez, President of Our Lady Fatima University - Philippines) were also among the other speakers.
