An Author Workshop on ‘Writing a Great Paper and Getting It Published in Research Journal’ was held on 05 December 2017 at 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University in association with ELSEVIER. Professor Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University was present as the chief guest while Dr. Sangeeta Mehta, Director, South Asia research solution, ELSEVIER was present as the keynote speaker. Professor Dr. Kabirul Islam, Director of Research presided over the workshop. Dr. Imran Mahamud, Associate Director of Research also spoke at the workshop.
Delivering her keynote presentation Dr. Sangeeta Mehta pointed out the issues, like: Publishing ethics and Plagiarism, Writing a lay summary: Getting noticed, Peer Review, Plan and Structure of article and best practices sharing and Free Science Direct Topic Pages.
A total of 65 faculty members and students took part in the workshop.
