Daffodil International University (DIU) signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Universitas Kristen Petra, Indonesia at the 16th Session of Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF)-2017. Professor Rolly Intan Tan, Rector, Universitas Kristen Petra and Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, BoT, DIU signed the MoA on behalf of the respective university.
Daffodil International University (DIU) signed more than 50 bilateral Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) and 01 Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with top graded Asian Universities at 16th Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF) 2017 held during November 21-23, 2017. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil International University signed the MOUs on DIU’s part. This is the largest number of MOUs signed in any international platform by the official delegation of DIU since date with individual universities, comprised from 17 countries, including, Japan, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Cambodia, among others. These collaborations will create more opportunities in the education sector for DIU, globally.
With the theme “Innovations and Foresight: Education Solutions for a Better World”, this year’s AUPF is hosted by Philippine Normal University, the National Center for Teacher Education, Manila, Philippines.
Daffodil International University (DIU) exchanged Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Malaysia at the 16th Session of Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF)-2017. Brig. Jen. Datuk Prof. Emeritus Dr. Kamarudin Bin Hussin, Chairman, UniSZA and Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, BoT, DIU signed the MoU on behalf of the respective university.
These separate bilateral agreements aim and form of co-operation on: exchange students, exchange faculty members, exchange in research, twinning programmes and centers of excellence. Through these MOU, students and Faculty members of DIU will get the access to international collaboration, such as resource sharing, cross-border collaborative arrangements, programs for international students, scholarships, establishing English-medium programs, summer programs, faculty and students exchange, and degrees.
Mr. Ahemed Shamim Ansary, Special Assistant to Chairman & Senior Assistant Director, DIU was also in the delegation at 16th AUPF.
