A sequence of performance by All Stars Daffodil at the closing ceremony of “ Dik Inter University Drama Festival 2017 “at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST)

A new dimension has been added by the “All Stars Daffodil”, a drama club of Daffodil International University. They performed a drama titled “মানুষ ব্যাপ্ত মানুষ” in the closing ceremony of “ Dik Inter University Drama Festival 2017 “at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet on 8th November 2017 at 6:30 pm in SUST Central Auditorium. The festival was organized by “Dik Theatre”, a drama club of SUST. “মানুষ ব্যাপ্ত মানুষ” is written by Mr. Shammo Sabur and directed by Mr. Shafi Rahman. The story is basically based on the affliction and discrimination among the people from another country or the people called refugees.
Total 13 members of “All Stars Daffodil” joined the festival after having the invitation from “Dik Theatre”, SUST. In this drama different characters played by: Faouzia Dipa, Shafi Rahman, Tushar Shahriar, Nadira Zaman, Maraz Ahmed, Eleas Nabi Faisal, Mehdad Srijon, Sifat Riti, Fahim Pranto, Sakib, Rakib, Mridula, Shams, Emon, and Joshi. Other members are Ashiqur Rahman (music), Gopal Saha (Music), Afrina Ferdous (Backstage), Farhan Sadik (Backstage).
They have got a huge response from the audience after completing their performance where some other reputed public university’s theatre clubs like ‘BUET Drama Society’, ‘Jahangirnagar Theatre’, and ‘Chittagong University Drama Theatre’ also participated in the program. This was the first time performance of “All Stars Daffodil” in any national level drama festival and the 2nd stage performance of “মানুষ ব্যাপ্ত মানুষ”. Note that, Dik Theatre has handed over a souvenir to the President of All Stars Daffodil and “Uttorio” to the director of “মানুষ ব্যাপ্ত মানুষ” as a token of appreciation.
