As a part of the course curriculum, Career Development Center (CDC) has organized an industrial tour for the students of Department of Textile Engineering (TE) of Daffodil International University (DIU) at Ha-Meem Denim Ltd. Mawna, Gazipur on 4th November, 2017 under the supervision of Mr. Asit Ghosh, Assistant Professor, Department of Textile Engineering.
The objective of the tour was to enlighten the students about the practical knowledge of Spinning, Dyeing Sizing, and Weaving of Ha-Meem Denim Limited. During the industrial tour, the students visited Blow room, spinning section, Ball Dyeing section, Sizing section, Warping Section and weaving section of Ha-Meem Group. Mr. Amran Hossain, AGM (Planning), Ha-Meem Spinning Mills Ltd. firstly briefed a presentation about the Ha-Meem Denim industrial estate with the students and introduced with Lt. Col. Md. Delwar Hossain PSC (retd.) Deputy Managing Director of Ha-Meem group, who shared the industrial experiences and future prospects of garments industry. After the session the Ha-Meem group team answered various query and questions asked by students.The tour team consisted of 30 students 1 faculty and 1 Administrative Officer.
