Daffodil International University delegation lead by Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. S M Mahabub Ul haque Majumder, attends a formal session where success stories of KIIT and KISS were presented before the delegates by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KITT and KISS.
A 23-member delegation of Daffodil International University (DIU)visited Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India from 3-7 October 2017 led by Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub-ul-Haque Majumder, Pro Vice Chancellor, DIU. Among others, the delegation also included Prof. Dr. Eng. A.K.M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, Prof. Dr.Farid A.Sobhani, Dean (HRDI), Abu Taher Khan, Director (CDC), faculty members & officials of DIU.
On 4 October 2017, the DIU team visited different campuses of KIIT University and KISS University where they observed the different academic curricular, methods and facilities as well as their infrastructural arrangements of these two universities .The team met about 10,000 tribal students of KISS University in an assembly hall gathered in honor of DIU delegates. After visiting both of the Universities, they attended a formal session where success stories of KIIT and KISS were presented before the delegates by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, hon’ble founder of KITT and KISS .A formal meeting with Prof. Dr. Achyuta Samanta and Prof. Dr. Sasmita Samanta, Register of KIIT on bilateral issues between DIU and KIIT University was held on 5 October 2017.The team gathered a lot of information regarding principles and practices of KIIT & KISS Universities. The delegates of DIU were invited to attend the Inauguration of World Space Week Celebration 2017at KIIT premise on 6 October. Dr. S. C. Jamir, Governor of Odisha was the Chief Guest at celebration program.

The delegates of DIU also visited various schools and met the concerned teachers at KIIT University and gathered beautiful experiences. This visit makes the ties stronger betweenDIU and KIIT and KISS.
In response to this visit of DIU delegation, a returned delegation of KIIT and KISS will visit DIU, Dhaka, Bangladesh in the month of December headed by Prof. Sasmita Samanta , Registrar of KIIT University.
It may be mentioned here that DIU, KIIT and KISS have been working together under agreed MOU since early 2010. KIIT University and Daffodil International University (DIU), have strong ties as manifested in the MoU signed for academic exchange. Recently, another MoU between KISS and Daffodil Institute of Social Sciences has been signed to set up a branch of KISS near DIU fully supported by Founder Chairman of DIU Mr. Sabur Khan.
