For promoting IT based learning education, there was a lecture session on “Use of Google Classroom in Blended Learning” held at Banquets Hall of Daffodil International University on 19 September, 2017. Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro-Vice Chancellor, DIU was present at the program as session chair while Mr. Md. Fouad Hossain Sarker, Head, Department of Development Studies and Mr. Kaushik Sarker, Associate Head, Department of Software Engineering were the keynote speaker in the session.
Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder in his presidential speech said that to build digital Bangladesh, we will have to use latest innovative teaching and learning as well as information technology in education system. Google classroom is a very edu-friendly system and we all should compulsorily use this system. He also urged the Faculty Members to take their classes and being habituated with google classroom.
As a keynote Speaker Mr. Md. Fouad Hossain Sarker said that google classroom is a very popular learning system in developed country but in Bangladesh we don’t know the use of google classroom still now. We should try to update our education system.
On the other hand Mr. Kaushik Sarker said, there is no alternative of adapting IT in our education system. Because world education system has changed radically. If we couldn’t adapt with this system, we will fall back decidedly.
