Besides Academic learning, to gain practical knowledge & information on entrepreneurship & other related area from industry visit which will help the students to develop self confidence &motivate them step forward on their entrepreneurship, a team from the Department of Entrepreneurship along with went to a field visit at North Bengal Cycle Industries Ltd. . in Gorai, Mirzapur, Tangail on 8 August 2017. Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University, along with some students from the Department of Entrepreneurship went to this field visit. This field visit was taken place as a part of the course “Entrepreneurship in Action” which is conducted by the Honorable Chairman.
Mr. Fazle R.M. Hasan, FCA, Chief Executive, North Bengal Cycle Industries Ltd. welcomes the DIU delegation at arrival and accompanied the team during their visit. Mr. Hasan enlightened the students with his knowledge about Cycle Industry. The students gathered the practical knowledge from this visit. They were introduced with many machineries of making Cycle and they discussed with other technical experts regarding this industry and visited different areas of the industry.
Students are listening and keeping records of important instruction of Honorable Chairman Sir during their visit.
Practical learning helps a person to learn better than just gathering theoretical knowledge and enhance classroom teaching. By keeping this mind, the Department of Entrepreneurship arranges field visit in a regular basis so that the students get practical ideas for their business and the visit to North Bengal Cycle was organized as a part of this Endeavour.
