Department of Real Estate organized a Workshop on " Land Administration Systems in Bangladesh" on 22 July 2017 at the 71 Milonayton of Daffodil Tower, DIU. Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, FBE , DIU was the Chief Guest in the workshop and Mr. Shyama Prasad Bepari, Joint Secretary & Project Director , Higher Secondary Stipend Project, Ministry of Education, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh was the resource person in the workshop.
Mr. Shyma Prasad thoroughly explained about the land management systems in Bangladesh in the workshop. He also point out that land is a natural resource and we have no power to create a single unit of land. So, we need to innovate different mechanisms to ensure the maximum utilization of land. In this case, the students of the department of Real Estate, FBE, DIU can play a vital role. They need to learn the land management systems practically along with the theoretical concepts by working in different government and private land related organizations.
The workshop was chaired by Mr. Sheikh Abdur Rahim, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Real Estate , Faculty of Business and Economics, DIU.
