A Grand Iftar Mahfil has been organized by the students of Department of Entrepreneurship, Daffodil International University, on June 18, 2017 at Daffodil Tower. Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University was present at the program as the Chief Guest while Professor Dr. Yousuf M. Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU, was also present at the program as the Special Guest. More than 1500 officials from Daffodil Family and faculty members of DIU were present at the Grand Iftar Mahfil. The food items, served at the mahfil, were healthy and organic in nature and were supplied by “Fusion Food”, a project of the Department of Entrepreneurship. “Food for People(FFP)”, another project of Department of Entrepreneurship, collected the leftover food of the grand iftar and distributed among the under privileged children in the Dhanmondi Lake Area.

Grand Iftar Mahfil as an assignment project to the students of Entrepreneurship
You will be amazed to know that for the the first time our Hon’ble Chairman, Mr. Md. Sabur Khan is taking a course titled “Entrepreneurship in Action” in the Department of Entrepreneurship as a faculty member. This is a six credit course with unique teaching methodologies. This has created a new dimension in the field of teaching. In this course, Sir has given this Grand Iftar Mahfil as an assignment project to the students of this course. The students will be evaluated and marked on the basis of their performance in this project.
