Mr. Roshan Jayasooriya, Assistant Director, International Youth Relations Division, NYSC and Mr. Syed Raihan-Ul-Islam, Officer of International Affairs, DIU are seen to sign the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Daffodil International University (DIU) signed collaboration agreement with National Youth Services Council of Sri Lanka (NYSC) in the field of youth development and exchanges on 15 May, 2017 with the approval of Attorney of Law and Chairman of NYSC. The core agenda of this agreement is to share and exchange the ideas and knowledge of the youths of both countries though exchanges like student, faculty, staff exchange, internship opportunity, cross cultural summer camp, as well as online resource sharing.
The agreement was initiated during the visit and active participation of DIU students in the Youth Exchange Program 2017, Sri Lanka from 28 January to 8 February 2017 at NYSC, where Mr. Syed Raihan-Ul-Islam, Officer of International Affairs, DIU and Mr. Roshan Jayasooriya, Assistant Director, International Youth Relations Division, NYSC signed the agreement and moved for the approval of Attorney of Law and Chairman of NYSC, W. G. S. Erandika. In coming days both DIU students and the associate youth members of NYSC will visit each other and get the cross cultural experience for multidimensional development.
