Professor Dr. S M Mahabub-Ul-Haque Majumder has joined as Pro-Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University on May 17, 2017 as appointed by the Honorable President of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chancellor of Daffodil International University. He formally handed over his joining letter yesterday to Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University after receiving the appointment letter from Ministry of Education. Professor Dr. Engr. A K M Fazlul Hoque, Registrer, Mr. Mominul Haque Majumder, Director (Finance& Accounts) and Mr. Md. Emran Hossain, Director (Administration). Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees welcomed him at his new position and congratulated him with a floral wreath.

Later on, Professor Majumder met with Professor Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University and Vice Chancellor greeted him with floral wreath at his new position.
Professor Dr. Engr. A K M Fazlul Hoque, Registrer Daffodil International University greets Professor Dr. S M Mahabub-Ul-Haque Majumder as Pro-Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University
Before joining this position, Professor Dr. S M Mahabub-Ul-Haque Majumder was the Dean of Faculty of Science and information Technology. He started his career as a lecturer in Chemistry Department at Chittagong University as Lecturer in 1973. He served as Chairman 1996-99 and acting Registrar of Chittagong University from 1995-1999. Professor Majumder also served as Dean, Curriculum Development & Evaluation Center, National University, Gazipur, 2000-2003.
He joined in Daffodil International University in 2005 and successfully performed the responsibilities of Controller of Examinations, Dean, FSIT and many other important positions of the university.
