Students of Environmental Science and Disaster Management Department of Daffodil International University at a 'Field Visit' in Sylhet
As a part of practical learning, students of Environmental Science and Disaster Management Department (ESDM ) of Daffodil International University have made a 'Field Visit' in different historical and environmentally important places of Sylhet recently. A large number of students and Faculty members of the department lead by Dr. A. B. M. Kamal Pasha, Head of the Department of ESDM took part in the Field Visit. They have visited Jaflong, Ratargul swamp forest, Bisnakandi, Lalakhal located at Sylhet.
The Visit will help the students to observe physiographic and environmental situation of Sylhet
Region and also identify the place as a stone crushing area. For different reasons the area is seriously contaminated for the people and life is seriously hampered. Students were abled to identify the problems and got opportunity of practical research on it.
