Syed Minhaj Hossain, Student of Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology, Daffodil International University is attending the Iran’s largest annual film festival entitled 35th Fajr International Film Festival 2017 will be held fromApril 19 to 28, in Tehran for ‘Talent Campus’ program with scholarship through International Affairs, DIU. Mr. Minhaj is achieving partial airfare, full accommodation, meals and local transportation to join masterclasses and workshops offered by prominent Iranian and international film academics and professionals during the 35th FIFF. The main purpose of the ‘Talent Campus’ of the festival is to primarily familiarize young filmmakers with the different aspects of the New Iranian Cinema as well as the development and training of the future generation of filmmakers.
35th FIFF 2017 is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to quality local and international films. Every year, prominent directors and new filmmakers exhibit their creative works in the festival. Thus, the 35th edition of this festival is going to be organized under the supervision of the Iranian Filmmaker Reza Mirkarimi.
