Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management of Daffodil International University became Champion in theTourism & Hospitality related Cultural Competition of ‘2nd National Business Genius Bangladesh on International Tourism & Hospitality - 2017’ held at IUBAT University, Dhaka on 27-28th March, 2017 in Uttara. ‘Bangladesh Debate Warriors - BDW’ (a renowned national debating organization of Bangladesh) organized this, inter-school, college & university debate, quiz, cultural tournament in association with Federation of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management – FOHTEM & Regency Hospitality Training Institute - RHTI where 25 renowned educational institutions participated. It was also an amazing, great and learning experience for Daffodil International University (Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management) while participating as the finalist at the Cultural Competition of‘2nd National Business Genius Bangladesh on International Tourism & Hospitality - 2017’. International Celebrity Chef Mr.Ahmed Hossain, Food & Beverage Director, Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort was the Chief Guest Prof. MD. Mahbubur Rahman, Moderator of Bangladesh Debate Warriors, Prof.Islam MD. Hasnat, Principal of Regency Hospitality, Training Institute – RHTI, Mr. Al Mamun Rasel, President of South Asian Youth Summit, M.A.Nahiyan, President, Federation of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management – FOHTEM, Mr. Shahbuddin, Director, Signature Restaurant and Mr. Abdul Halim Sarker, Program Coordinator of Regency Hospitality, Training Institute – RHTI were the Special Guests of the Prize Giving Ceremony of the above mentioned event. Daffodil International University (Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management) received the champion award from Mr. Ahmed Hossain, Chief Guest of the event.
