A seminar entitled Prospects and Possibilities of Higher Study in Russian Universities held at Daffodil International University Auditorium today on 12 March 2017 for the students organized by International Affairs, DIU in association with Cultural Department, Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bangladesh.
Ms. Ekaterina Turina & Mr. Anton Vereschagin, graduate students of Moscow State University of International Relations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia shared their study experiences and different possibilities of exchanges in the seminar. Mr. Alexander Antipin, Head of Communication Section of Russian State Nuclear Energy Corporation “Rosatom” delivered a presentation on study of engineering subjects in Russian universities.

Prof Dr Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director of International Affairs, DIU delivered his welcome speech and shared current international exposure and opportunities for the students at DIU. Mr. Alexader P. Demin, Head of RCSC in Dhaka wholeheartedly welcomed DIU students at Russian Centre of Science and Culture to visit, learn Russian language and culture as well as explore the library. Besides, he shared the opportunity of Russian government scholarship and its upcoming exam for selection.
The seminar was ended with question-answer session and handing over the souvenirs among the guests of the seminar. Teachers, students and officials from different departments were present in the seminar.
