Mr. Anisul Hoque, country’s renowned novelist and writer along with Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman, Board of trustees, Daffodil International University and other distinguished guests pose for a photograph at the launching ceremony of Daffodil Study Forum.
A new student organization Daffodil Study Forum (DSF) is formally launched on today on February 09at Daffodil International University (DIU). Mr. Anisul Hoque, a popular novelist and writer was the Chief Guest at the launching program while Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University presided the program. Professor Dr. Yousuf M Islam, VC, Daffodil International University, Professor Dr. A M M Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Mr. Sayed Mizanur Rahamn, Director of Students Affaires and Mr. Abu Taher Khan, Project Director, IIC also spke on the occasion.
Addressing as the chief guest Anisul Hoque advised the students, to try to reduce the addiction of facebook and utilize the saved time for reading books watching movie, playing games and so other many things which can help to develop physical and mental health. Mr. Anisul Hoque also said that, to build up a study forum is obviously appreciable. I really give thanks those students who have taken this initiative.
In the presidential address Md. Sabur Khan said that now a days we are so busy in social media. We haven’t enough time to spend on reading book. It’s not a healthy sign for society. If we want to be a meritorious society, then we should give emphasis to improve reading habit. We need to read more and more that’s why launching of a Study Forum is really appreciable.
