To encouraging physical exercise, parade and sports spirit for sound health in our corporate culture and uphold the physical, mental and social fitness of the faculty members, officials and students, Daffodil International University (DIU) organized “Change Together” program for third time on January 07, 2017 at permanent campus. Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University was present at the program today as chief guest at DIU permanent campus.

For outstanding performance and contribution to Daffodil International University faculty member and administrative personnel were awarded in different categories in the program. Mr. Tanvir Ahmed Chowdhury, Assistant Professor of Department of Textile Engineering and Ms.Liza Sharmin, Associate Professor of English Department were awarded “Chairman Award” for their contribution to the university.

Mr. Md. Fuard Hossain Sarker, Assistant Professor of Natural Sciences Department and Mr. Kaushik Sarker, Senior Lecturer of Software Engineering Department were awarded “Vice Chancellor’s Award” for contribution in Innovation in teaching and Learning (Google Class Room) and Mr. Rasel Hossen, Lecturer of Natural Sciences Department for Research works (Google Scholar). Ms. Shamsi Ara Huda, Assistant Professor of English Department and Mr. Diljeb Kabir, Senior Assistant Director were awarded Inspiring Smile Award. Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Yousuf M. Islam also officially handed over the Certificate Google Educator (Level-1) to Mr. Khonodoker Mohammad Shah Al Mamun, Assistant Director of Daffodil International University.

Addressing as the chief guest Md. Sabur Khan said, “To overcome many lacking a combination to physical stamina and mental strength is must. We would like to change the society together, for doing so, we have to change ourselves first, and this initiative is the first step towards that holistic change.”
