at Daffodil International University

A seminar on “"Science and Technology for Human Development: Looking Ahead to 2020" was held today at DIU Auditorium for the students of the department of Pharmacy and department of Nutrition and Food Engineering. Dr. Abed Chaudhury, Hoffman LaRoche LSRF Fellow and Lead Researcher of Australia was



the keynote speaker in the seminar. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Registrar Daffodil International University delivered the address of welcome. The seminar was also attended by Prof. Dr. Abu Shara Shamsur Rouf, Adviser, Department of Pharmacy, Dr. Belal Ahmed, Head, Department of Nutrition & Food Engineering, Dr. Md. Moklesur Rahmen, Head, Department of Pharmacy and Ms. Ameena Hasan Ana, Special Assistant (Business Development). A large number of faculty members and students were present in the seminar. A question and Answer session was followed by the seminar participated by the students.

Later Dr Abed Chaudhury made a courtesy visit with Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman,Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University. Professor Dr. S. M. Mahbub-Ul- Haque Majumder, Dean, FSIT, Professor Dr. Golam Mawola Choudhury, Proctor, Dr. Md. Fpkhray Hossain, Registrar, Mr. Moklesur Rahman, Head, Department of Pharmacy and Ameena Hasan Ana,Special Assistant ( Business Development) to Chairman, BOT were present during his visit.
