DIU Job Festival 2025: Over 150 Top Employers Engage with 40,000+ Skilled Candidates
Daffodil International University (DIU) successfully organized one of the nation’s largest career platforms, “DIU Job Utsob 2025,” held on 29–30 November 2025 at Daffodil Smart City in Birulia, Savar. The two-day mega event brought together jobseekers, students, alumni and industry professionals under one large employability initiative.
With the theme “Connecting Talents: Unlock the Border of Opportunities,” this year’s festival featured the participation of more than 150 national and multinational organizations spanning 35 industries. The event created over 3,500 live job openings and 1,000+ internship opportunities, drawing the active participation of over 40,000 attendees, including graduates, current students and alumni.
The inauguration ceremony, held at 10:00 AM on 29 November at the Independence Conference Center, was graced by Mr. Nabil Mostafizur Rahman, Additional Managing Director of United Commercial Bank PLC, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Deputy Managing Director & COO of UCB PLC, attended as the Special Guest. The program also featured remarks from Professor Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Mohammad Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar, Md. Manjurul Haque Khan, Director (CDC), along with other senior administrative leaders of the university.
DIU’s Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir, joined the ceremony virtually and, in his congratulatory message, stated that DIU continues to integrate skills, technology and employability to prepare students for the future. He expressed that this year's Job Utsob has opened new doors to both national and global opportunities for young talents. He extended sincere gratitude to the participants, employers and organizers, noting that such initiatives will significantly strengthen and empower Bangladesh’s future workforce.
Chief Guest Mr. Nabil Mostafizur Rahman stated that DIU students are already contributing to the transformation of the country’s employment landscape and that this job festival has opened new windows of opportunity for the youth.
Special Guest Mr. Md. Abdullah Al Mamun remarked that organizing such a large-scale career festival is highly commendable and provides an exceptional platform of real opportunities for the new generation.
Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal highlighted that DIU Job Utsob 2025 is not merely a job fair but a strong bridge connecting student competence, career readiness and real employment opportunities. He emphasized the festival’s role in strengthening industry–university engagement and supporting students’ capacity development.
Throughout the festival, participants had access to on-spot interviews, CV submissions, live recruitment activities, interaction with employers, networking with more than 300 HR professionals, career readiness workshops and CV clinics. The event played a crucial role in guiding young people toward structured career planning and opening pathways to promising employment opportunities.
