Daffodil International University Pays homage to the Martyrs of Liberation War at the National Memorial on Victory Day

Professor Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director of External Affairs along with the teachers, high officials and students of Daffodil International University are placing floral wreaths at the National Memorial at Savar marking the Victory day.


On the occasion of the Great Victory Day 2025, Daffodil International University (DIU) paid deep tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War by placing floral wreaths at the National Martyrs’ Memorial at Savar today morning on December 16, 2025. Through this program, the university is expressing its profound gratitude and respect for the supreme sacrifices made by the nation’s greatest heroes.

On behalf of the university, a delegation led by Professor Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director of External Affairs, placed floral wreaths at the National Martyrs’ Memorial, accompanied by Mr. Chandan Haider, Officer, Office of the Student Affairs (OSA), Mr. Mokabbir Alam Sani, Assistant Administrative Officer, Branding and Communications Office and a large number of  students of the university.

Following the tribute at the memorial, from the afternoon onward, Daffodil International University celebrated the Victory Day with due honor and festivity at its campus, at the base of the Knowledge Tower. Faculty members, students, and officials are participating in various programs in a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The entire campus was decorated with banners, posters, festoons, and colorful arrangements. In the evening, the campus was glowing with captivating red-and-green illumination, symbolizing the national spirit.

The cultural segment of the celebration was began with the hoisting of the Victory Flag and the enchanting of the National Anthem. Through patriotic songs, dances, and dramas, the university community honoured the sacrifices of the sons of the soil, through whose devotion and courage the nation was celebrating Victory Day today.

Through these programs, Daffodil International University continues its commitment to upholding the spirit of the Liberation War and fostering patriotism, humanity, and national values among future generations.
