7 members delegate from Daffodil International University lead by Prof. Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University at the 2nd ISESS 2018 Conference in Malaysia.

A 7 members delegate from Daffodil International University joins the 2nd ISESS 2018 Conference based on the theme “Developing Employability and Soft Skills among Graduates” in Malaysia held from 6th -7th   August, 2018 at Avenue Garden Hotel, Bangi, Malaysia. Professor Dr. Yousuf M islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University presented keynote paper at the inaugural session of 2nd International Summit on Employability and Soft Skills (ISESS 2018) Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and Daffodil International University (DIU) Bangladesh jointly organized the conference.

The objective of the conference is to address the skills gap by launching educational products and educational methods that inculcate thinking skills, interpersonal skills, personal skills, communication skills and a sense of ownership and responsibility.

The idea behind the conference is to examine the challenges behind effective development of these skills in students who are habitual rote learners and educational systems that perpetuate such a mind set and thereby play a pivotal role to launch educational products and training of trainers on innovative pedagogy that addresses these issues.

Prof. Yousuf Mahabubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU and Prof. Rozhan, the convener of the conference along with other distinguished guests pose for a photograph at the 2nd ISESS 2018 Conference.

While presenting keynote paper Prof. Yousuf Mahabubul Islam proposed a three step model for developing God-Made humans as complete individual: 1. Know thyself  2. How does the human brain work? And 3. How a teacher should launch a class?
 As the international partner, 5 Faculties and 2 DIU administrative employees under the leadership of Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University attended the conference. They presented five papers which were much appreciated by Prof. Rozhan, the convener of the conference.
