A 10 member high Powered delegation team of University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) lead by Prof. Dr. Khaidzir Hj. Ismail, Director began 4 day official visit to Daffodil International University today on March 31, 2018. The members of the delegation team comprised with Prof. Dr. Khaidzir Hj. Ismail, Director, Dr. Adi Irfan Che Ani, Assoc. Prof. Sr (Surveyor), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosilah Hassan, Deputy Director (Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Publication), Dr. Halizah Omar, Deputy Director (Communication), Mrs. Saadiah Kummin, Coordinator of English Courses, Mr. Azlan Ahmad, Coordinator of Bahasa Melayu Courses, Ms. Norhazirah Khairuddin, Secretary, Dr. Lubna Alam, Fellow Researcher.

 

10 member high Powered delegation team of University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) lead by Prof. Dr. Khaidzir Hj. Ismail, Director  visits the Malay Language center at DIU to observe the facilities and challenges for improvement whereMr. Mark James Barthellomew, Director of  Daffodil Institute of Language welcomes the delegation. 

The visiting delegation took part in a joint Round Table Discussion at the conference room of the univerwsity presided over by Professor Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor. The Round Table was also attended by Professor Dr. S M Mahabub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director (International Affairs),Prof. Dr. Farid A Sobhani, Dean, HRDI, Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director (Student Affairs), Mr. Mark James Barthellomew, Director Daffodil Institute of Language, Mr. Shibli Shahriar, Head, Department of Entrepreneurship, Mr. Md. Anowar Habib Kazal, Senior Asssitant Director ( Public Relations) and
They exchanged opinions and views on various educational aspects of mutual interest specially exchange of teachers, researchers and students between Daffodil International University and University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). They also exchanged views regarding enhancement of cooperation to promote joint collaborative courses (Entrepreneurship, business, Emglish language, environmental science and others), research, CITRA-DIU joint certificate,” YOU “workshop as CITRA program per semester/ per year and upcoming summer program of DIU.

Later on they visited the Malay Language center at DIU to observe the facilities and challenges for improvement which was jointly established by University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Daffodil International University under the agreement signed by Professor Dr. Yousuf M islam, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University and Prof. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Noor Azlan Ghazali, Vice Chancellor of University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) during his visit to UKM on September 29, 2017 last year.
Later on the delegation made a courtesy visit to Dr. Md. Sabur Kham, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University
Daffodil International University has a good relationship with University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) for a long time and as a result of this relationship they made this visit to Daffodil International University for further development.
