Prof. Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, Head, Department of CSE along with other Faculty members and CPC Members are visiting ‘Take Off Programming Competition Summer-2017’ held today at Daffodil International University organized by Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).

 

Daffodil International University Computer and Programming Club (DIU CPC) organized ‘Take Off Programming Competition Spring -2018’ today on March 2018 at CSE building of DIU Dhanmondi Campus. Student of 1st semester and 2nd semester of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department and Software Engineering (SWE) Department were the participants of the competition. Prof. Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, Head, Department of CSE inaugurated the contest as the chief guest. Mr. Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman, Associate Professor (Adjunct), Department of CSE, DIU, , Mr. Mahmud Sajjad Abeer, Vice President, Debashis Saha Pranto, General Secretaryand Hafizur Rahman Arefin, Press Secretary of Computer and Programming Club were also present during the contest.

While addressing as the chief guest at the inaugural program Prof. Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain said, this competition is arranged only for increasing the confidence level and competence of the students. Prof. Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain also emphasized that nowadays ICT Skills are very potential for every student and anyone neglecting ICT Skills will lay behind in all aspects in this competitive age and for this students should be prepared themselves from their student life.
Computer and Programming Club of DIU is always arranging this type of competition in each semester. Today’s one is the 7th phase of this Endeavour.
