Mr. Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer of Daffodil International University is addressing as the chief guest at the discussion program on Independence Day-2017 held at Daffodil International University Auditorium71 on March 27, 2017 at DIU Auditorium 71.
To mark 47th Independence and National Day 2017 Daffodil International University organized a discussion meeting titled “Attainment of Independence through Liberation War” at Auditorium 71 of the university at main campus on March 27, 2017. Mr. Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer, DIU was the chief guest at the discussion meeting. Presided over by Prof. Dr. A M M Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, the discussion meeting was addressed by Mr. Mohsin Reza, Associate Professor and Head, Department of English, Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Shafiul Islam, Associate Professor, Dr. Toufiq E Elahi, Assistant Professor of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication and Mr. Mohaimen Faruq, Adjunct Faculty of Daffodil International University.
Addressing as the chief guest Mr. Hamidul Haque Khan said, we got independent Bangladesh through war of Freedom in 1971, we got political independent, but we didn’t get freedom till today. Communalism still fighting here, democracy is not in a good condition, He advised the students to learn the spirit of Liberation War and recalled the contribution of the father of the nation Banggabondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He also said, after 46 years of Independence, we could not achieve the target of our desired expectations and for that he urged the young generation of the country to work united to regain the spirit of Liberation war and dreamed golden Bangladesh.
